UNIT 2 - FORCES
Unit 2 covers Newton's three laws of motion, many types of forces, finding acceleration, and revolves around the formula F = ma.
Newton's first law states that an object at rest will stay at rest and an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted upon by and unbalanced force. An object will only accelerate or decelerate when the forces acting on it are unbalanced. For example, a meteor in space moving at a constant velocity will continue to move at a constant velocity unless an unbalanced force acts upon it, like when it enters the gravitational field of a planet.
